8. President Baxter Harris - Scary Movie 3 - A very guilty pleasure of mine, this movie deserves a lot more credit than it gets. A definite step above the rest of the Scary Movie franchise.
7. President Tom Beck - Deep Impact - Americans would be so mesmerized by Morgan Freeman’s voice that we would unanimously agree with every stance he takes.
6. President James Dale - Mars Attacks! - Despite freaking me out a ton when I was younger, this movie has grown a lot on me over the years. Probably the most eccentric President around.
5. President Merkin Muffley - Dr. Strangelove - Satire at its best.
4. President James Marshall - Air Force One - “Get off my plane!” Most badass President ever.
3. President Thomas Whitmore - Independence Day - Chills. Whitmore gives me chills ever single time he gives the best Presidential address since the Gettysburg Address.
2. President Andrew Shepherd - The American President - Easily the wittiest President ever. My heart swoons over his subtle banter with lobbyist Sydney Wade. A great father and a powerful leader. Plus he had the foresight to put Michael J. Fox on his staff before the Parkinsons got bad. (is that in bad taste?)
1. President David Palmer - 24 - I’ve only seen a handful of 24 episodes, but its impossible not to love President Palmer. He is very analogous to John F. Kennedy, except without the massive international policy mishaps. Oh, and JFK wasn’t black.
